Position
  • Carry out planned preventative, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, repairs, refurbishment, installation, improvement, and modification or upgrade of plant, food production, high-speed packaging, and site services and facilities maintenance.
  • Drive continuous improvements and process enhancement work.
  • Perform project work, including electrical installation and modification.
  • Electrical fault finding and modifications of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA Systems, and Control Panels.
  • Mechanical repair, fault finding, and routine plant preventative maintenance.

Work with the Engineering Manager to foster a positive team culture.

Requirements
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Engineering.
  • Preferably qualified to City & Guilds / ONC / HNC in Engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving and fault diagnosis skills.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repair skills; 18th edition preferable.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally in food or FMCG manufacturing.
  • Experience with PLC systems, Control Panels, HMIs, and SCADA Systems at a high level.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety, isolations, and electrical H&S standards is beneficial.
  • Experience working with high-speed food production and packaging machinery.
