What you will do

• Build and guide a cross functional engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, high performance, and continuous technical growth.
• Drive technical excellence by staying hands on with code reviews, architectural decisions, and system design using Python, TypeScript, and AWS.
• Partner with product managers and designers to translate ambitious roadmaps into production ready features for 300+ institutional clients.

The ideal candidate

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in a fast paced startup or scaleup environment with a focus on shipping iteratively.
• Deep backend technical expertise in scalable system design, ideally with experience in Python, TypeScript, AWS, or Terraform.
• A product oriented mindset that prioritises user impact and operational excellence over technical elegance for its own sake.
