Responsibilities

Current requirements are in the areas of Design, Technical Systems (Test, Aircraft Systems, Avionics and Equipment), Stress, Materials and Processes, and Research and Technology.

Wherever your initial placement, you'll get the opportunity to work with different teams, explore where your own skills and interests lie and consider your future focus. As we enter a new chapter for aerospace product design, manufacture and testing, we're on the cusp of transformational opportunities.

Qualifications

Candidate Requirements:


Essential:

Applicants are responsible for ensuring that sufficient detail is provided on the application form to demonstrate how they meet the appropriate job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes.

Successful candidates will be forecasted for or have an honours degree (minimum 2.2) in a directly relevant subject (Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Product-Design Engineering, Advanced Composites and Polymers, Metallurgy, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Electrical / Electronic Engineering) where the course content has been accredited by one of the major engineering institutions enabling applicants to pursue CEng status.

Requirement to work 36 hours per week 5 days a week in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Positive, enthusiastic and hardworking attitude combined with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in aerospace industry as a career.

Desirable Criteria:

A forecasted or achieved 2.1, 1st class honours degree or Masters degree (MEng, or Beng+MSc) may be considered during the shortlisting for this role.

Preference will be given to candidates with an Aeronautical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Degree.

Qualification must be obtained by 30th June 2026
