Engineering & Facilities Manager Food Manufacturing Derry/Donegal

Our client, a well-established food manufacturing business located just outside Derry City, is looking to appoint an Engineering & Facilities Manager to take full ownership of the site services function.

You will manage a small engineering team across all aspects of plant and equipment, including refrigeration, effluent plant operations and facilities maintenance. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who can balance reactive maintenance with a strong planned preventative maintenance programme.

What you need:

• HNC or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or multi-skilled across both disciplines
• 4 to 5 years engineering supervisory or management experience in an industrial environment
• Solid knowledge of modern maintenance techniques and PPM implementation
• Strong problem-solving ability and confident working with external bodies on site accreditations
• Clean driving licence and within 30 to 60 minutes of the site

Desirable:

• Experience with Pneumatics, Welding or PLCs
• Food or red meat manufacturing background
• Familiarity with 6S and continuous improvement
