Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for all administration in the engineering department
- Updating the pirana system with job updates
- Help to organise any relevant training needed for the department
- Answering telephone calls, deal with any queries and passing messages on as required
- Support bookings and arrangements for contractors visiting the site
- Gathering data as required for meetings and passing over information as required
- Assisting in placing department orders, processing delivery notes, invoices and responsible for stock management of engineering stores.
- Any other duties as required
- Excellent attention to detail
- Polite telephone manner
- Not afraid to use initiative
- Previous experience in an administration role or a transferable skill set
- Desire to progress within the industry
- Highly efficient with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast moving environment
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Focused, hardworking and target driven with a positive, can do attitude
- Ability to work in a busy manufacturing environment
- The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels.

HOURS OF WORKWe offer flexibility around working days and hours, provided a minimum of 25 hours is worked between 7:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The specific work pattern can be agreed with the successful candidate to suit both their availability and the needs of the business.
