Job Title: Engineer Electrical Reliability INTERNAL APPLICATIONS ONLY THIS IS AN INTERNAL ROLE ONLY

Location: Any UK Site

What You'll Do

As an Engineer Electrical Reliability, you'll manage assigned electrical and software reliability projects, working across the business to identify root causes of failures and deliver robust, verified engineering solutions.

You'll contribute to design changes, testing, and validation activities to maintain vehicle specifications and improve long term reliability. Working closely with Engineers, Principal Engineers, suppliers, and customers, you'll support containment, service, and production solutions that meet both business and customer requirements.

This role offers exposure across vehicle platforms, advanced electrical systems, and emerging technologies, including EV architectures.

What We're Looking For

You'll be a motivated electrical or systems engineer with experience working in structured engineering environments, ideally within automotive or similarly complex industries. You'll be confident managing projects, analysing data, and applying structured problem solving techniques to deliver effective reliability improvements.

You'll bring strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with multi disciplinary teams.

Bonus if you have:
  • Experience in automotive engineering, vehicle manufacture, or aftermarket environments
  • Exposure to EV systems, high voltage architectures, or advanced electrical integration
  • Proficiency with Solid Edge, E3, Teamcenter, or similar CAD / PLM systems
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or experience using 8D or similar problem solving methodologies
