Cannock Full Time Permanent (Temp - Perm)
Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience

We are currently recruiting for an Engineer to join a specialist engineering business based in Cannock.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a small, friendly and supportive team specialising in the repair, refurbishment and manufacture of induction coils and associated equipment. The successful candidate will split their time between the workshop and customer sites, carrying out repair, refurbishment, installation and maintenance work.
No two days are the same, making this role ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys problem-solving and a varied workload.
Hours of Work
  • Monday to Friday
  • 07:30 - 16:30
  • 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair, refurbish and rebuild induction coils and associated components.
  • Carry out coil rewinds and refurbishment work to a high standard.
  • Remove and reinstall equipment at customer premises.
  • Assist with on-site maintenance, breakdowns and installation projects.
  • Perform brazing, soldering and light fabrication work.
  • Assemble and dismantle mechanical components.
  • Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship both in the workshop and on customer sites.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Previous engineering, manufacturing, maintenance or refurbishment experience.
  • Experience of brazing copper components is highly desirable.
  • Mechanical fitting and assembly skills.
  • Experience using hand tools and workshop equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Welding, fabrication or pipework experience would be advantageous.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred due to site-based work.
