Energy Systems Engineer

A full time, permanent post has been created to accelerate growth and the development of the Flexitricity's services through the evaluation and connection of small electricity generators, energy-hungry industrial processes and energy storage devices with the Flexitricity platform.
Working between major corporate energy managers, operational staff and a variety of contractors, you will be involved in every aspect of site projects, from early-stage sales activities, through supervising and project management of site works, to ongoing client support.
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring a new approach to energy balancing into widespread commercial application
Project managing the technical onboarding of new sites to Flexitricity's optimisation system.
• Requirements capture, design, test and commission of Flexitricity outstation equipment.
• Carrying out qualification injection testing.
• Developing technical solutions for new services.
• Investigating and analysing faults and carrying out repair for live sites.
A degree in electrical, mechanical, renewable energy engineering or similar.
Key Skills & Attributes- Knowledge of the electricity industry in the UK.
- Able to demonstrate analytical, technical and project management skills, and be an effective communicator and team-worker
- Excellent presentation and report-writing skills
- Good IT skills (preferably including engineering design applications).
- Enthusiasm, self-motivation with a strong interest in demand side management and smart grid development.
- Full UK/EU driving licence, as this role required travel within the UK.
