The End User Computing (EUC) team will be responsible for all end user related technology needs incorporating hardware, software and processes.
As EUC Manager, you will play a crucial role in defining our end user technology strategy and building a committed technology team to deliver this vision. You will lead a talented team of IT EUC Engineers and Technicians with experience in end user hardware maintenance, network connectivity, Microsoft office and productivity software, Audio Visual technology and IT Asset Management. Most importantly, you will introduce a step change in approach to end user customer care with a focus on innovation and automation.
- Image & Operating System: Standard corporate builds, deployment process, O/S lifecycle, Group Policy/configuration baselines.
- Patching & software: Endpoint patching, software packaging/distribution, platform updates.
- Connectivity & collaboration: VPN client integration, Microsoft 365.
- Mobility: Mobile device management/integration & secure BYOD.
- Virtual desktops: Manage and maintain the organisation's Virtual Desktop environment.
- Workplace technology: Meeting room collaboration systems and Audio Visual hardware and software.
You'll also bring: Excellent communication and relationship management skills, including third party support providers, industry partners, internal project delivery and system vendors. Strategic, analytical thinking and sound decision making ability. The ability to lead and mentor team members. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to build strong business relationships and develop a trust partnership with your business colleagues. Strong vendor relationship management.
