Who are we?
We're the Alliance - a collaboration between Anglian Water and industry partners: Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska, and SWECO. We deliver over half of Anglian Water's capital investment program.

As we enter AMP8, our most ambitious period, we'll deliver innovative, environmentally-driven infrastructure projects, from urban drainage to nature-based solutions like constructed wetlands.

We are passionate about keeping our people safe, happy, and thriving. We are strengthening our SHEA (Safety, Health, Environment, and Assurance) team with a dedicated Enabling, Environment and Sustainability Manager.

You'll be part of a team delivering projects that improve lives and protect the environment, working alongside industry leaders in a culture that prioritizes wellbeing, safety, and growth.

What you'll be doing:

• Providing leadership in environmental consenting, permitting, and auditing in project delivery, ensuring consistency and clarity
• Reviewing and approving Alliance Enabling Risk Assessments, ensuring risks are understood and mitigated
• Supporting project teams and governance processes, escalating critical issues appropriately
• Reviewing and updating the Alliance Management System (AMS) in line with legislation and lessons learned
• Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and promoting best practices
• Conducting inspections, audits, and quality reviews to ensure AMS compliance
