Employment Solicitor

The role

We'd be very interested in talking to individuals who have 0-4 years of relevant post qualification experience as a solicitor to work in our employment team.

All candidates should ideally have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Advising employer clients on day-to-day employment issues
• Corporate support work
• Assisting the team with strategic planning and management of re organisations and other employment projects
• Managing and conducting employment tribunal claims

We are looking for someone with an interest in this area of law, a proactive, self starter with strong technical ability, a committed and strong work ethic, exceptional client service, problem solving ability, strong teamwork, excellent people, communication and client management skills, an interest in business development and good commercial awareness.

The Muckle Team

Our employment team is one of the largest and most pro active in the North East, predominantly employer based with a cross sector client base. The team works on a range of matters including strategic planning/reorganisations, employment tribunal and high court advice, TUPE and transactional support, executive severance, equality and diversity and general HR related matters.
