An established regional law firm is seeking an experienced Head of Employment to lead and develop its Employment team while maintaining a fee-earning caseload. This is a senior role ideal for a solicitor with entrepreneurial flair, a strong track record in employment law and ambition to progress towards partnership.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor and develop the Employment team

• Provide high-quality, commercially focused employment advice to clients

• Manage the department's financial performance, including billing and WIP

• Oversee efficient handling of all employment matters

• Maintain client communication throughout the lifecycle of matters

• Contribute to the strategic growth and management of the firm

Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE in Employment Law

• Experience handling Employment Tribunal cases

• Ability to run a caseload independently

• Strong technical, drafting and client management skills

• Ambitious, commercially minded and client-focused

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
