Employment Solicitor (4-8 PQE) - International City Law Firm - FTC

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: 3-6 Month Fixed-Term Contract

Location: London

Practice Area: Employment Law - Corporate Support & Advisory Focus

Our client, a highly regarded international City law firm, is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join their successful team on a fixed-term basis. This is an exceptional opportunity to work closely with a leading partner in a collaborative environment.

The Role

You will be involved primarily in corporate support and advisory work, providing strategic employment law advice on a range of transactional and standalone matters. While there may be some exposure to litigation, this is not the core focus of the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising on employment aspects of corporate transactions, including TUPE, redundancies, and senior executive matters.
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
  • Supporting clients with day-to-day HR and employment law queries.
  • Collaborating with other practice areas on multi-disciplinary matters.
Candidate Profile
  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 4-8 years' post-qualification experience in employment law.
  • Strong background in corporate support and advisory work within a reputable US or Top 20 law firm.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a close-knit team.
