The RoleYou will be responsible for conducting claims and litigation on behalf of solicitors, representing and advocating for members before tribunals, courts, hearings, and regulatory bodies, while also providing legal advice and guidance to colleagues on issues affecting teachers. Additionally, you will contribute to staff and member training, and prepare written documents, articles, and resources on legal matters.
The CandidateThe organisation is seeking a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with proven expertise in employment law, regulatory proceedings, and advocacy. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in case management and litigation, alongside strong advocacy skills before courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies. You will possess the ability to provide clear, practical advice to colleagues and members, as well as excellent drafting and communication skills.
The PackageThe role offers a competitive salary, 35 days of annual leave (pro rata), and blended working with 3-4 days in the office and the remainder from home, subject to business needs.
