Job Description
Employment Lawyer - Greater Manchester

Full time position offering a salary up to £45,000 dependent on experience. The role involves advising employer clients on a broad mix of contentious and non contentious employment matters, and the successful candidate will work alongside experienced specialists, handling casework and developing technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support fee earners on a broad range of contentious and non contentious employment matters.
  • Prepare for and attend Employment Tribunal hearings.
  • Undertake legal research to support case strategy and ongoing matters.
  • Prepare hearing bundles, disclosure documents and case papers.
  • Liaise with clients, counsel and other professionals to ensure an excellent standard of client service.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver practical, commercial advice to employer clients.
Candidate Profile
  • At least 12 months' experience within employment law.
  • Solid understanding of both contentious and non contentious employment matters.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Confidence building relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive approach with a genuine enthusiasm for developing a career in employment law.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a supportive team.
