Job Title: Employment Advisor

Location: Wirral - Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £31,700

Type: Full Time, Permanent

• Engage, motivate and support a caseload of unemployed participants through to gaining sustainable employment.
• Provide support and guidance to your caseload, surrounding benefits/welfare advice, disclosure of health symptoms etc.
• Work in partnership with your caseload to complete action plans, and to better understand their skills, aspirations and goals.
• Provide employability support, to include: matching participants to suitable job vacancies, CV writing, job searching, interview techniques etc.
• Proactively engage with local employers, to source vacancies, understand their recruitment needs and promote candidates.

• Experience of working within a similar Employment Advisor / Employer Engagement role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and support individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Must be able to demonstrate experience of working towards KPIs.
• Must be IT literate.
