OverviewAre you passionate about making a difference and creating positive social impact? As a Restart Advisor, you will play a transformational role in coaching and empowering individuals. You will help participants unlock their potential and guide them toward sustainable employment, covering career coaching to personal development and addressing varied challenges along the way.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with participants through diagnostic assessments to identify barriers and create action plans that shift mindsets and outline steps to secure meaningful employment.
- Meet and exceed performance targets by continuously improving strategies and seeking input to deliver the best outcomes for participants and the wider community.
- Understand and signpost participants to internal and external services that address needs such as debt management, mental health, and career coaching.
- Ensure participants have well-crafted, professional CVs, tailored supporting statements, and cover letters to support job searches.
- Prepare participants for interviews by conducting mock interviews and assessments, and helping them build confidence in their abilities.
- Maintain accurate electronic participant records reflecting the range of support offered, from coaching through to employment placement, within required timescales and standards.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and challenge participants to reach their full potential
- Experience delivering against and exceeding performance targets and engaging participants in personal growth and mindset transformation
- Exceptional communication skills to inspire and influence participants while addressing diverse needs, and ability to contact employers and external stakeholders to identify opportunities
- Flexible and creative in solving complex challenges
- High-level digital literacy
- Excellent organisational skills - able to manage a varied caseload and deliver exceptional support while juggling multiple priorities
