This is a fixed term post of 37 hours a week until 31 March 2026.
Communities for Work+ (CfW+) is a Welsh Government programme tackling poverty through sustainable employment, providing intensive employment mentoring and support.
Communities for Work+ provides specialist employment advisory support and intensive mentoring to people who are under represented in the labour market, including young, older and disabled people; Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people; and those with care responsibilities.
The programme focuses on increasing the employability of economically inactive and long term unemployed adults who have complex barriers to employment.
Responsibilities- Deliver effective and sustained working relationships with micro businesses, sole traders and other employers to secure work based training and employability opportunities for participants.
- Identify employment opportunities for participants and promote the services of the programme to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Source vacancies and opportunities for participants and provide in work support.
- Identify and establish contacts with local employers through innovative outreach and marketing activities to promote CfW+ and the benefits of recruiting its participants.
- Work collaboratively with other employer liaison functions both internally and externally to ensure a coordinated and strategic approach to employer relations and opportunities for participants.
- Provide a flexible, high quality service and work as part of an integrated team.
- Travel across Pembrokeshire and attend meetings/forums across Wales; a car is required.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Welsh language skills are desirable.
