Hours and Weeks per Year: 37 Hours a week/ 52 Weeks per year
In the role of Employer Engagement and Placement Advisor, you'll predominantly be based at The Waterfront Quarter but may work across all our Huddersfield and Dewsbury Centres. Your focus will be on proactively generating sufficient high-quality placements and other employer-led activities to enhance the overall student experience. A driving license and access to a car is essential for this role.
Your key responsibilities will include employer engagement, proactively generating new business leads to secure and maintain a wide range of work placement opportunities to meet the needs of students' study programmes, liaising with Personal Development Tutors for the matching process, and linking students to relevant placement opportunities generated.
You will also be expected to plan, organise, and participate in employer engagement activities and events designed to strengthen partnerships, raise the profile of our organisation, and expand opportunities for our students.
Ideally, you'll have a track record of generating new business leads through targeted telesales and networking activity (or be able to demonstrate equivalent ability), along with proven experience in developing and maintaining quality employer and partnership relationships. It's important that you're able to communicate effectively across all areas of the college, build effective working relationships and provide first class customer service and demonstrate our college values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
