The Merrion Hotel located in the heart of Georgian Dublin, opposite Government Buildings, is the capital's most luxurious five star hotel and a proud member of The Leading Hotels of the World. Built on an impeccable restoration of four Georgian townhouses, the 142 bedroom hotel is arranged around two 18th century style gardens. The hotel houses Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud, a two star Michelin restaurant; The Cellar Bar; The Garden Room; and the intimate No. 23 Cocktail Bar. The Merrion partners with Flow Hospitality Training to provide bespoke, accredited learning for all team members. It is the first hotel in Ireland to offer tailor made training via this platform.
The hotel is recruiting a full time Employee Restaurant Assistant for our employee restaurant, Dukes, located centrally in Dublin and within easy reach of public transport. This role offers the opportunity to work in a beautiful hotel, supported by excellent training and a welcoming team.
Responsibilities- Prepare the employee restaurant for meal service.
- Serve hot food for lunch and dinner.
- Maintain and refresh all food items, including the salad buffet.
- Restock crockery and cutlery.
- Clean and tidy the seating area, changing bins, wiping tables and chairs, and mopping.
Shift work and flexibility are required. 8 hour shifts, five days per week, include weekends and some bank holidays.
