Job Description

Cpl HR Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who is passionate about Employee Relations and wants to play a hands on role in supporting with complex people matters. You will be a trusted advisor to managers and stakeholders, working in a fast paced, multi site environment where no two days are the same. This will be a great opportunity to learn as you go and develop your skills in a organisation that are proactive and creative in the people approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted Employee Relations advisor, providing practical guidance and support to managers and stakeholders on a wide range of people matters
  • Support complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance management and capability matters
  • Support industrial relations activities, including employee engagement, negotiation, conflict resolution and mediation
  • Ensure all employee relations activity is handled fairly, consistently and in line with Irish and EU employment legislation
  • Support the development of positive employee relations and a respectful, people centred workplace culture
  • Advise on best practice approaches to employee engagement, conduct and performance issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case records, ensuring a high standard of attention to detail
  • Balance multiple cases and priorities effectively within a fast paced, multi site environment
Level of Experience Required
  • Third level qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline (NFQ Level 8 or equivalent)
  • CIPD qualification (Member level or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an Employee Relations focused role, ideally within a fast paced and/or multi site organisation
  • Strong and current knowledge of Irish and EU employment law
  • Proven experience managing industrial relations matters, including negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution
  • Solid grounding in core HR practices, particularly performance management and employee engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, work to tight deadlines and make sound, balanced decisions
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels
