You will support the delivery of various HR reporting activities and take responsibility for ensuring that all calls are logged in our Case Management System. You will also liaise with the ER Partner on specific escalated cases. You'll have the opportunity to work with the Employment Relations Partner to develop more advanced employee relations skills and spend time on projects and development work, such as designing processes and leader guidance tools to support continuous improvement. You'll lead policy management for Boots Ireland, creating and updating policy documentation, manager guidance, and online resources. You'll stay up to date on the latest employment legislation and company policies, interpreting and communicating these effectively to managers and team members. You'll maintain and develop our policy framework across all people related activities, covering the entire employee lifecycle and supporting both our business and culture. You'll maintain legal compliance by delivering policies and guidance that promote a positive and fair culture within the business. You'll also work closely with the wider People team in the creation and communication of policies.

How will you do it?

As a key member of the People Operations team, you will provide support and subject matter expertise on our internal information systems, while liaising with Boots stores, the Support Office, and key internal and external stakeholders. You'll bring your HR/ER knowledge and strong attention to detail to ensure the correct application of Boots policies and procedures. You'll also use your ability to analyse and compile data, alongside your excellent report writing and policy creation skills.

What you'll need to have

We're looking for a motivated individual who can successfully multi task and work with pace and professionalism while caring for colleagues. It's all about working together as one team - after all, our people are at the heart of our business. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your own development and learn more about us as a business. You'll have ER/HR experience in an ER Advisor, Policy Manager, or similar role, alongside in depth knowledge of HR processes, procedures, systems, and general HR practices and principles. You'll demonstrate excellent Excel, numeracy, and verification skills, as well as strong interpersonal and time management abilities. You'll also be confident in understanding and assessing people information and reports, with up to date knowledge of current and upcoming ER legislation and a strong ability to interpret and communicate key information.
