Job Description

Our Employment Plus Services is looking to employee an Employability Support Apprentice to work in a supported learning environment to develop the skills and knowledge which will assist in completing the necessary qualifications and secure employment and career progression in the future.

Please note in regards to location this role is based in Bristol and travel may be required across Bristol, Bath and South Gloucestershire.

As the Employability Support Apprentice, you will;

  • To undertake a development programme leading to a Level 3 in Business Administration as part of an apprenticeship.
  • Actively participate in your own development plan as agreed with the Line Manager and the assessor from the training provider
  • As directed, undertake a work programme to develop practical skills, knowledge and experience of Employability Support, including: Case loading, person Centred Support, team Working. motivational Interviewing. action Planning. reporting and employability legislation

To be successful in this position you will have;

  • Level 2 qualification in English, Mathematics and Information Technology - Or equivalent experience
  • Ability and willingness to follow instructions and learn new tasks
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a community focussed environment
  • Good work ethic
  • Desire to work with those disadvantaged by unemployment 5 Motivation
  • Willingness to take responsibility for their own development
  • Committed to completing the apprenticeship 6 Circumstances
  • Ability to travel within region to gain experience of all aspects of our delivery
