We are currently looking for an Emerging Talent Manager in our Human Resources department. In Human Resources we design and deliver talent, learning and inclusion programmes that attract, develop and retain the people who make our projects possible. Emerging Talent Manager (Recruitment), you will:
  • Use a variety of sourcing tools to attract and recruit the best talent for Skanska's emerging talent vacancies with clear focus on social value and growing diversity in applications and hires.
  • Based on relevant data, market insights and trends, use your initiative to design advertising campaigns and develop partnerships with recruitment marketing organisations, educational establishments, social enterprises, and other relevant partners.
  • Design and deliver 'Experience Skanska' programmes e.g. careers insight days, work experience and T-level placements to inspire young people to consider working at Skanska.
  • With clear focus on positive candidate and hiring manager experience, manage the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple disciplines e.g. Civil Engineering, Environment, Quantity Surveying, Mechanical and Electrical, Data & Digital Technology Solutions.
  • Implement assessment strategies to ensure best practice selection approach and process.
  • Provide support to the wider Emerging Talent team with organising and delivering development and networking events.
  • Evaluation of process, outcomes and inputs and proactive approach to continual improvement, in line with Skanska business plan and wider sector and target audience benchmarks.
  • Organisation and presenting assessment centres and development days
We are looking for:
  • Previous experience in early careers
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple vacancies, stakeholders and high volumes of applications.
  • Ability to plan and manage your workload.
  • Clear communication style and confidence to professionally represent Skanska in recruitment activities
  • Initiative, curiosity and ability to make sound decisions based on values, recruitment best practice and relevant legislation.
  • Ability to use digital platforms and social media for effective employer branding.
  • Competent to work with Microsoft Office and specialist software systems such as Avature and other application tracking systems.
