To perform this job successfully, an individual must instruct students and facilitate their learning in accordance with corporation policies and state guidelines, promoting intellectual, social, and physical growth.
Qualification RequirementsIndividual must perform essential duties, with accommodations for disabilities as needed.
- Teach corporation approved curriculum while creating a conducive classroom environment.
- Assist administration in implementing policies and rules.
- Instruct assigned classes at designated times and locations.
- Use a variety of instructional techniques, media, and assessments.
- Establish clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects.
- Assess student accomplishments regularly and provide progress reports.
- Maintain accurate, complete records per law and policy.
- Analyze standardized testing data and adjust strategies to maximize student success.
- Recognize special needs of students and provide individualized accommodations.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Valid Indiana teaching certificate in appropriate grade level and area of study required.
