- As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for debugging and repairing electronic modules and assemblies.
- You will support prototype builds for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and track/report on key production metrics.
- Play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives, supporting volume production, NPI builds, and maintaining output targets and yield management.
- Duties include:
- Debugging circuit board assemblies that fail in functional or in circuit tests
- Analysing non conforming products and preparing detailed reports
- Completing documentation in line with GMP & GDP standards
- Customer engagement for optimal test equipment/program set up
- Promoting a quality culture and ensuring strict compliance with procedures
- Maintaining a tidy, organised working environment and meeting all health & safety and ESG requirements
- Proven experience with board repair and diagnostics, across both analog and digital circuits (including logic and processor systems)
- Strong understanding of electronics principles and ability to interpret circuit diagrams
- Minimum Level 6 qualification in Electronics or equivalent
- Demonstrable problem solving/debug skills and ability to work on own initiative
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new processes
Desirable:
- Experience with SMT circuit board technology
- Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment
- Previous experience working in a target driven environment
