About Your New Job
  • As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for debugging and repairing electronic modules and assemblies.
  • You will support prototype builds for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and track/report on key production metrics.
  • Play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives, supporting volume production, NPI builds, and maintaining output targets and yield management.
  • Duties include:
    • Debugging circuit board assemblies that fail in functional or in circuit tests
    • Analysing non conforming products and preparing detailed reports
    • Completing documentation in line with GMP & GDP standards
    • Customer engagement for optimal test equipment/program set up
    • Promoting a quality culture and ensuring strict compliance with procedures
    • Maintaining a tidy, organised working environment and meeting all health & safety and ESG requirements
What Skills You Need
  • Proven experience with board repair and diagnostics, across both analog and digital circuits (including logic and processor systems)
  • Strong understanding of electronics principles and ability to interpret circuit diagrams
  • Minimum Level 6 qualification in Electronics or equivalent
  • Demonstrable problem solving/debug skills and ability to work on own initiative
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new processes

Desirable:

  • Experience with SMT circuit board technology
  • Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience working in a target driven environment
