Overview

Electronics Service Engineer role within the Electromedical Engineering Team in Medical Equipment Management Service (MEMS) at Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.

Clinical Technologist (Medical Engineering)

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic engineer to join our Electromedical Engineering Team in MEMS, providing technical equipment support to clinical teams.

Main duties

Duties include completing planned maintenance, repair, calibration, and testing of a wide range of medical equipment. You will be expected to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

Based at the Royal United Hospital the successful applicant will be expected to work in the RUH with some travel in the local area to carry out work at other healthcare providers. You will be expected to drive the department vehicle therefore a current full UK manual driving licence is essential.

  • HNC/HND in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • C & G/ONC in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • Driving Licence (Manual UK)

  • B.Eng in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
Experience
  • Electrical/electronic repair/service experience
  • Working for EBME in healthcare
  • DIY Skills
