Peterborough/Lincolnshire Salary-Negotiable Depending on experienceMonday-Friday days, 40 hours per week.
The company:Based just outside of Peterborough, you will be joining a well-known innovative electronics manufacturing company with a large UK and International presence who are on a continuous growth journey. Due to continued growth, expansion and new product development, they are now seeking an experienced Electronics engineer to join their team in the development of bespoke and iconic electronic systems used in several industries, from airspace, military, flight and more.

The Electronics engineer will conduct electronic engineering activities in the design, development, test and documentation of company products and their manufacturing test systems.
Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Carry out electronic engineering design and development to meet project requirements
  • Design and development of PCB layout and specifications.
  • Support the activities of the Test & Acceptance team.
  • Test plan development and execution, and Test report writing
  • Participate in hardware design and build
  • Work to precise and strict health & safety requirements.

    Skills and Experience required:
  • Experience in a similar role, within a manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Degree qualified or equivalent such as HND in a relevant technical discipline
  • Knowledge of communications systems equipment specification, design or test
  • Understanding of electronic circuit design, prototyping and development.
  • Ability to work alone or within a small team.
  • Ability to read and work to engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
