Job Description
As a Senior Electronic Board Layout Designer, you are responsible for the design of complex PCBs integrating RF elements 20-30 GHz, high-speed Ethernet, FPGA as well as analog and mixed circuits, in a constrained aerospace environment (thermal, size, reliability). Responsibilities: - Take charge of the entire PCB development cycle.- Analyze, understand, and challenge the technical requirements transmitted by the RF, Hardware, and Mechanical teams.- Design complex PCBs (12+ layers) in compliance with industry best practices for aerospace.- Ensure: - RF elements 20-30 GHz - High-speed low-noise Ethernet with fast transients - Analog and mixed architectures- Guarantee compliance with size, thermal, and reliability constraints.- Produce all PCB and PCBA files.- Ensure the technical documentation in the X document system, in accordance with internal processes.- Apply the principles of Quality by Design and Design for Manufacturing / Assembly / Testing / Maintenance.- Collaborate closely with mechanical, RF, and embedded software teams.- Participate in transfer to production and support.Profile and experience: - Minimum 10 years of experience in designing complex PCBs (12 layers and more).- Proven experience in highly regulated environments (aerospace, automotive, medical).- Successful experience in transferring in-house designs to production and handling service returns.- Advanced mastery of Altium / Altium365, including: - Hierarchical Design - PCB Layout with Rooms - Copying Rooms - High-speed Ethernet - FPGA - Mixed analog / low noise and fast transients layout - Component library management.- Excellent English skills (oral and written).- On-site presence in Lausanne for at least 3 days per week.Preferred expertise: - Co-design with mechanical engineers (SolidWorks).- PCB analysis with Ansys SIwave and close collaboration with RF engineers 20-30 GHz and embedded software/programmable logic teams. jid94c62bfaen jit0310aen jpiy26aen
