Our client is looking to hire an Electronics Engineer - Component Selection to join their flagship UK R&D centre. In this role based in Devon, you will be responsible for:

• Interpreting and analysing electronic schematics and component datasheets to support hardware evaluation and fault investigation
• Carrying out fault-finding and resolution on electronic circuits, including modification or replacement of components where required
• Reworking and adapting existing circuits to integrate new or alternative components, ensuring compatibility and continued functionality
• Providing practical, hands-on technical support across the full electronics lifecycle, excluding original design, focusing on testing, validation, and ongoing improvement
• Collaborating with R&D engineers and suppliers on component selection, failure analysis, and ensuring compliance with specifications and robustness standards
