Electronic Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Stevenage

Salary: Up to £50,000

Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer, with a background in electronics, looking to take the next step in your career?

As the Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards throughout the design, manufacturing and production processes. We are seeking candidates with a solid background in quality assurance, particularly in the electronic sector. Your expertise will be essential in driving continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to significant problem solving efforts.

Quality Assurance Engineer Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Product Non Conformance. Facilitate implementation of the Non conformance process. Support design and manufacturing defect investigations.
  • Utilise methodologies such as 8D, RCA, and DMAIC to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to enhance product assurance and overall manufacturing quality.
  • Proactively identify, communicate and mitigate quality risks and issues for in house equipment's with the aim of reducing risk and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in engineering process improvement and facilitate local flash audits providing compliance and process improvement ideas.
What We're Looking For:
  • A strong background as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience within manufacturing or production environments, specifically related to electronic engineering.
  • A practitioner of current QA problem solving and improvement methods (8D, RCA, DMAIC, etc.).
  • Proven problem solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
