Electrician (m/f/d) Who We Are

The U.S. Mission in Germany is one of the largest U.S. Diplomatic Missions in the world, due in large to its vital geographical situation, its political, and commercial importance in Europe. The U.S. Mission comprises the Embassy in Berlin and five consulates in Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, and Leipzig and provides a wide array of services and support as well as playing a vital role in German American relations. The U.S. Consulate General in Frankfurt is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Electrician (m/f/d) .

Your Tasks

You are employed as a Electrical Technician to accomplish skilled maintenance and repair work at the journeyman electrician level, to International Building Code standards, throughout all facilities on the Consulate Compound to include office buildings, grounds, out buildings, ancillary structures, and residential owned/leased properties.

Your Profile

You have a completion of Completion of secondary school and a completion of vocational training program with from an accredited institute recognized as producing journeyman level technicians with specialization in the Electrical field is required. (You will have completed courses of study covering the principles of AC and CD circuitry, power distributions, control wiring, circuit ampacity and safe wiring practices for office and residential buildings, use of diagnostic equipment and electrical meters, commercial wiring standards including power generation and distribution.)
