Job Description
general repairs and local working
Opportunity to join our expanding general repairs team
Job role generally consists of reative and planned repairs to local commercial and resisdential clients, including EICR defect repairs
SJIB rates paid and or significant bonus scheme- upwards of 55k is achievable, Bonus scheme rates are based on project
Primarily day shift however night/ back shift may be required for school or live office sites - working hours are as per client request however when works are complete the job is finished -
A call out rota is also required to cover at least 1 week of a 2 month period if you are working on a local contract.
Standard local working and SJIB shop rates are paid when not on a project and carrying out maintenance roles for housing and or supermarket chains.
Candidates may be requested to achieve an Enhanced DBS clearance- which we will pay for.
Opportunity but not required for suitably qualified supervisors with enhanced pay must have ideally SMSTS or SSSTS
Candidates must have an in date CSCS 18th edition card - 17th edition in date card will be accepted if you provide evidence of a booked 18th edition exam.
Opportunity for operatives to progress to supervisor or to other "off the tools "roles such as surveyor or post installation inspector.
Company vehicles are available to take home when on call out only
Candidates must complete McCann training yearly and third party external training. Candidates must also learn new measurement and verification methods via in house training and compliance teams
Candidates may need to undergo an enhanced DBS and barring clearance check as required by government organisation contracts.
Candidates must be fully competent in completing test certification via an Ipad and using and Ipad in general for email - Training can be provided for basic navigation of the software however it is assumed the candidate will be able to complete test certs proficiently and use the Ipad fully.
Candidates must hold a full driving licence
