Electrician
Location: Greater London (home based with regional travel)
Salary: £60,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Your new companyA well established organisation operating across the UK and Ireland is continuing to expand its high street and commercial estate. Due to ongoing growth and new site openings, they are strengthening their Facilities team and are now seeking experienced Electricians to support multiple locations across London and the South of England.
Your new roleAs an Electrician, you will be responsible for delivering electrical maintenance and installation works across both existing and new sites. This is a mobile, home based role covering Greater London, with regular regional travel and occasional travel further afield.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs, testing, and installationsSupporting electrical fit outs of new sites and refurbishmentsEnsuring all works comply with current electrical regulations and standardsCompleting planned and reactive maintenance tasksAssisting and liaising with subcontractors attending siteManaging inspection, testing, and certification recordsCompleting periodic inspection and testing to ensure complianceUndertaking PAT testing and managing associated documentationTesting emergency lighting, generators, and associated systemsRaising material requisitions and maintaining accurate stock recordsExecuting work schedules efficiently and submitting job sheets promptlyConducting site inspections and reporting any defects or required worksEnsuring strict compliance with health & safety procedures and PPE requirementsMaintaining accurate records and reports for audits and complianceWhat you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
18th Edition wiring regulations qualificationJIB Approved Electrician statusStrong understanding of building regulations for electrical installationsExperience working across commercial and/or industrial environmentsKnowledge of generators, CCTV, and BMS systemsAbility to carry out inspection, testing, and fault finding worksStrong organisational and time management skillsA proactive and professional approach to workFull UK driving licenceFlexibility to travel across London and occasionally other regionsDesirable (but not essential):
Previous experience in a facilities or mufti site roleExperience with PAT testing and thermal imagingCSR cardAbility to work across domestic, commercial, and industrial installationsWhat you'll get in return
