Electrician

An excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join a well-established and growing organisation delivering essential public infrastructure across Ireland. This role offers varied, hands-on work across public lighting projects, fault response, and maintenance, with exposure to modern technologies including smart lighting, EV infrastructure, and renewable energy systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver public lighting projects to agreed specifications, standards, and safety plans
• Report project changes and updates to project management
• Ensure all work meets client requirements
• Implement and maintain safe systems of work (RAMS, JSSPs)
• Conduct inspection, testing, certification, and reporting
• Diagnose and repair public lighting faults
• Survey and record infrastructure condition
• Participate in on-call rota as required

Essential Qualifications

• Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate
• Safe Pass
• Full clean driver's licence

Experience Required

• Proven experience as an electrician (public lighting preferred)
• Experience working near live traffic
• Experience working at height (e.g. van hoist)
• Electrical testing and verification experience

Desirable Certifications / Experience

• Safe Electric Qualified Certifier
• CSCS Signing, Lighting & Guarding
• Public lighting project experience
• CSCS LUGS / Scaffold cards
• Abrasive Wheel certification
• HIAB operation
• First Aid training
• C Licence
