About the OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join a well-established and forward-thinking engineering team within a busy industrial manufacturing environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining, improving and supporting electrical systems across a large production site. You'll help ensure plant, equipment and facilities operate safely, efficiently and in full compliance with regulations, while contributing to ongoing site improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities-
Respond promptly to electrical faults and breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain safe plant operation

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with electrical safety regulations and site procedures

Ensure all electrical work complies with statutory requirements and relevant standards

Install, maintain and upgrade site lighting systems, including energy-efficiency improvements

Support mechanical and electrical (M&E) installations for production, facilities and improvement projects

Test, inspect and certify electrical installations (where qualified)

Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and site upgrades

Work in accordance with health and safety policies, promoting a strong safety culture

Experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment

Knowledge of mechanical and electrical (M&E) installations

Experience with lighting installations and upgrade projects

Familiarity with planned preventative maintenance systems

Essential:
-
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent recognised qualification)

City & Guilds 2382 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Desirable:
-
City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) - Inspection, Testing and Certification
