Job Description
Overview
M C Electrical are a small business operating in the South East. Due to progressive growth we are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team. We cover all aspects of electrical installations including Solar PV, battery storage, EV charging, testing & inspections. We mainly work directly to clients on a domestic, commercial and industrial basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical installations and be willing to work within a team.
We have a reputation of a high standard of work and attention to detail, a successful candidate would need to take pride in their work and strive to continually improve.
We tend to work within 1 hour radius of BN27 postcode, although sometimes work is carried out further. We do not carry out work for any social housing or council housing.
Standard working hours Mon-Fri 8am - 4.30pm. Overtime is optional, weekend work is available.
Pay is dependant on experience.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
Competent in electrical testing on initial verification and period inspections.
Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions promptly.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project completion.
Be able to work alone and occasionally manage a number of staff on a job.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field.
Knowledge of solar PV & battery storage systems would be preferred but not essential
Qualified status with proven experience. 2391 testing and inspection preferred but not essential. Further training could be provided
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients
Full driving license - company van will be provided with fuel card
Provide basic tools - specialised tools will be provided
