Job Description

Electrician North West England

Location: Various sites across the North West with the office operating within Wigan.

Hours: 40 hours per week + overtime available

Pay: £17.00 £18.00 per hour (DOE)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join their growing team, working across a range of industrial, commercial, and domestic installations throughout the North West.

You ll be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and testing works to a high standard, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair work across a variety of sites.
  • Undertake full and partial rewires, BMS control wiring, and associated power/control systems.
  • Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and remedial works.
  • Conduct electrical inspection and testing, completing all required certification.
  • Ensure compliance with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and all relevant health and safety procedures.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, site personnel, and office staff to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and PPE to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
  • ECS / CSCS Card preferred.
  • 2391 (Inspection and Testing) qualification desirable.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
  • Proven experience in commercial and industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of safe working practices and excellent communication skills.
