Electrical Wireman

Sparkford £14.50-£15.00 per hour DOE Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-1:30pm Full-Time

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for skilled Electrical Wiremen to join a well-established and growing engineering company in Sparkford. Known for designing and manufacturing specialist incubation systems for the global poultry industry, this business offers a stable and forward-thinking environment with excellent long-term prospects.

• Carry out electrical panel wiring and assembly.
• Assemble cable looms and wiring systems.
• Install and wire electrical control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring schedules.
• Perform soldering and crimping tasks, including bootlace ferrules, insulated crimps, and lug crimps.
• Work to production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Support general electrical and mechanical assembly tasks as required.

• Previous experience in panel building and wiring is preferred.
• Experience with cable loom assembly.
• Knowledge of crimping techniques and components.
• Good soldering skills.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience within a production or manufacturing environment.

• Positive and proactive "can-do" attitude.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to raise queries when needed.

• £14.50-£15.00 per hour depending on experience.
