Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the electrical engineering team within the manufacturing environment.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support production goals and address technical challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills.
  • Monitor and report on team performance and project progress.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reliability of electrical systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Electrical Team Lead should have:

  • A relevant qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical systems within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
