Job Description
Electrical QA/QC Engineer - Data Centre Construction (BH-3210)

Location: Espoo, Finland Salary: €70,000.00 - €90,000.00 per annum

This specialist contractor is one of Europe's most established data centre delivery partners, providing full turnkey solutions from design through to commissioning across some of the continent's largest hyperscale developments.

With multiple live projects across the Nordics and a substantial pipeline of work secured for the coming years, we continue to expand our quality and commissioning teams on major data centre campuses. This Electrical QA/QC Engineer position is based on a large-scale project near Helsinki, Finland.

Electrical QA/QC Engineer

As an Electrical QA/QC Engineer, you will take ownership of quality assurance and quality control processes across major electrical packages on a hyperscale data centre project. You will work closely with the Electrical Construction Team, Project Management Team, Commissioning Team, and specialist subcontractors, ensuring all electrical installations are completed in accordance with project specifications, client standards, inspection requirements, and industry regulations. You will play a critical role in maintaining quality standards across MV and LV distribution systems, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, containment, cabling, grounding, and associated electrical infrastructure while supporting successful project handover and commissioning activities.

Must Have Requirements
  • Must have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience required as an Electrical QA/QC Engineer on large-scale construction projects
  • Strong understanding of MV/LV electrical systems, installation standards, inspections, and testing procedures
  • Experience with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), quality documentation, and project handover processes is required
  • Data centre, industrial, pharmaceutical, or mission critical project experience is highly desirable
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working on hyperscale data centre projects
  • Exposure to commissioning and turnover processes
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and NCR management
  • Experience working with European electrical standards and specifications
  • Knowledge of BIM 360, Procore, or similar project management platforms
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and client standards
  • Review electrical drawings, technical submittals, quality plans, and inspection documentation
  • Develop and maintain project-specific QA/QC procedures for electrical worksReview and approve Inspection & Test Plans and quality records submitted by subcontractors
  • Inspect MV/LV systems, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, containment, cabling, lighting, and grounding installations
  • Issue, track, and close NCRs and corrective actions where required
  • Coordinate closely with Electrical Engineers, Construction Managers, Commissioning Teams, and subcontractors
  • Ensure all electrical inspections, testing activities, and commissioning records are fully documented
  • Maintain quality dossiers, test certificates, red line drawings, and turnover documentation
  • Support project handover activities and final client acceptance processes
  • Participate in quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
