Job Description

TRS on behalf of an established Electrical Services Company are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Supervisor / Foreman to lead industrial and commercial projects, with a strong focus on works within a large factory in West Cork (Carbery).
This is a hands on leadership role responsible for delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, while managing site teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise electrical projects on site from start through to completion
  • Plan and coordinate daily and weekly work activities
  • Manage site teams (typically 10-15 electricians / E&I technicians, Apprentices)
  • Liaise directly with clients, ensuring clear communication and professional delivery
  • Work closely with the Contracts Manager and office team to ensure projects run smoothly
  • Order materials and manage deliveries to site
  • Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with safety standards, permits, and RAMS
  • Maintain high quality installations with minimal snagging and rework
  • Support testing, commissioning, and handover documentation
  • Mentor and develop electricians and apprentices on site
Required Experience
  • Qualified Electrician or Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician
  • Strong industrial experience is essential
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role
  • Hands on experience with control wiring, panels, and industrial control systems
  • Working knowledge of PLC systems (fault finding, I/O understanding, interfacing - not necessarily programming)
  • Experience working with Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), including installation, fault finding, and commissioning
  • Experience working in live industrial environments (e.g. processing plants, manufacturing, pharma, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of electrical installations, containment systems, and commissioning
  • Ability to plan work effectively and manage multiple priorities
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Full clean driving licence
