Job Description

Exciting Opportunity for an electrical Manager to managae maintenance works ensuring faults and projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.

The role involves managing operational performance, coordinating resources, maintaining strong client relationships and leading a high-performing maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance works, resources and weekly schedules to meet required completion targets.
  • Monitor maintenance faults, open jobs, productivity and other key performance indicators.
  • Liaise with clients and relevant stakeholders regarding works, site requirements, progress and issues.
  • Ensure works comply with contractual requirements, legislation, electrical standards and health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
  • Identify and manage operational, programme, resource and budget risks.
  • Monitor costs, approve expenditure and identify changes to scope.
  • Maintain accurate project systems, dashboards and job status information.
  • Manage projects through to completion, including final measures, certification and close-out documentation.
  • Lead and develop the maintenance team, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and training.
Qualifications
  • Level 8 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Level 6 Craft Electrical Certificate required.
  • PMP, PSCS and relevant electrical certifications are advantageous.
Experience
  • 5+ years' experience managing electrical projects.
  • Experience in electrical testing and verification.
  • Experience in public lighting, utilities, civil works and road-opening requirements is desirable.
