Electrical Project Engineer

We are hiring an Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of a large scale Data Centre project in Milan, from design through to commissioning and handover. This role will involve coordinating design teams, subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Senior/Lead Engineer with project engineering delivery.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Manage technical submittals, RFIs, equipment schedules, and engineering trackers.
• Review drawings, BIM models, schematics, and design documentation.
• Assist with procurement activities including RFQs, technical bid evaluations, and vendor management.
• Ensure compliance with quality plans, ITPs, and project specifications.
• Support FATs, SATs, commissioning activities, testing, and handover processes.
• Identify and manage technical risks, issues, and design deviations.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering electrical systems on large-scale construction or engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of design coordination, procurement, commissioning, and project delivery.
• Experience managing technical documentation, submittals, and engineering change processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and take ownership of engineering deliverables.
