Elevation have the pleasure of working exclusively with a heavy manufacturing company based in the Grimsby area. This leading manufacturing company, are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their well established team!
Salary: £56,767
Location: Grimsby
Hours: Bespoke days and nights shift pattern

Duties of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
- Attending to PPM's and breakdowns on a daily basis
- Helping develop and implement current PPM system
- Ensure equipment is operating correctly to minimise machinery downtime
- Carry out installation, modifications and decommissioning tasks in accordance with method statements
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing equipment, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Carryout PAT testing and Emergency lighting checks in accordance with safety standards
- Use a variety of tools and equipment such as access and lifting equipment, power tools, and measuring and test equipment, working at height and in confined spaces.
- Operate site service equipment such as boiler and compressors
- Carry out installation, modifications and decommissioning tasks in accordance with method statements
- Ordering parts/ spares to ensure available as and when needed
- Electrical wiring, panel building, testing, inspection and fault finding
- Fault finding on PLC's
- Ensuring daily, weekly and annual servicing is complete
- Assist with machine installations as and when needed
- Working with other departments to a continuous improvement focus to ensure the business is the best it can be
Desired experience of Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
- You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds - Apprentice trained)
- It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
- Ideally have 3 years+ experience within in a Electrical maintenance position outside of apprenticeship
- Must have worked within a manufacturing maintenance background previously
- Must have PLC fault finding experience
- Must have the good work ethic, someone who can work independently and within a team environment
