Electrical Maintenance Engineer - FM Service Provider - University - East London - up to £45,000 per annum

About the Role: CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a University in East London. The incumbent will carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance within a team of eight people. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in building maintenance or commercial settings. Hours of work

• Monday to Friday - 08:00 am to 05:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
• Diagnose and repair faults on production equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Emergency light testing
• Dealing with sub contractors
• Adhering to health and safety
• Making sure your workspace is clean and tidy
• Following the university rules and regulations
• Dealing with permit to works
• Maintaining site logs

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of electrical equipment
• City and Guilds - 18th edition
• Client facing
• Good communication skills
• Call outs 1 in 8
