Job Description
Electrical Lead (Finland)

Electrical lead required to join one of Europe's leading Tier 1 Main Contractors on a Data Centre project in Vaasa, Finland. The Electrical lead will report into the MEP Lead and will be responsible for working with a team of Electrical Engineers ensuring the successful delivery of the project's Electrical systems.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of Electrical Engineers
  • Suggest appropriate design modifications to improve cost efficiency, facilitate construction schedules, and enhance specifications and quality completion
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness
  • Oversee construction to ensure quality workmanship and materials
  • Coordinate with the contracts manager, site engineers, and other discipline leads to ensure subcontractors and site personnel receive timely and accurate information
  • Review and understand drawings and specifications, and promptly communicate any errors or omissions to the design team
  • Determine project resource needs and lead and motivate the project team
  • Ensure the highest standards of health and safety
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
  • 7+ Years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working on Data Centre projects would be beneficial.
  • Experience in procurement, scheduling, programming and sequencing.
  • Experience leading MEP Teams.
  • Good IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Packages.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines.
