Whatyou'llbe doing as an Electrical Engineering Apprentice:

• Shape Project Definition Briefs by defining key technical requirements
• Play a vital role in ensuring Electrical assets meet regulatory and compliance standards
• Gain hands on experience in the engineering and environmental aspects of plant design and delivery
• Tackle real world challenges in risk identification, investigation, and mitigation
• Be part of Electrical teams driving Thames Water's AMP8 ambitions to 2030 and beyond
• Learn on the job with tailored training and mentorship from senior engineers

Whereyou'llwork:

Location: Clearwater Court Reading RG1 8DB- Hybrid

Hours: 36-hour week over four working days plus one training day

Training and qualification :You'llstudy with Newbury University, a leading UK engineering training provider, with one day per week of on campus learning.

Qualification achieved: Level 6 Apprenticeship Standard in Product Design Development in Engineering- HNC/HND & BSc (Hons) or BEng (Hons) in Engineering

Duration: Permanent contract with a48 monthstructured programme

What you should bring to the role

• 5 GCSE's including Maths and English (grade 9-4 / A-C)
• 3 A-Levels grade C or above including a Technical or Engineering subject
• Travel required across Thames Water sites
• Good timemanagement and communication skills
• Able to work well in a team and independently
