Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team of professionals who support and optimize network infrastructure for leading telecom providers such as Vodafone, Nokia, and Ericsson. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and ensuring the reliability of AC and DC systems within the wireless telecommunications industry. This role requires a highly technical individual with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Installing both AC and DC systems within the wireless telecommunications industry across the UK.
  • Performing test and inspection of all works and producing certification.
  • Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and in compliance with BS7671.
  • Completing certificates accurately and maintaining high-quality documentation.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as required.
To do this as a professional, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Strong understanding of mobile networks and power supply systems.
  • Experience working in a telecoms environment.
  • Technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of BS7671 and GN3 regulations.
  • Clear and valid driving license.
  • Quick and logical thinking with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Confidence in decision-making and taking initiative.
  • Good computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Required Certifications:
  • Fully Qualified Electrician (C&G or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Trained - Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018.
  • C&G 2391-52 Inspection and Testing Course (Periodic & Initial).
Desirable Certifications:
  • City & Guilds 2396 - Electrical Design.
  • City & Guilds 2377 - PAT Testing.
  • Climbing or Working at Height (Rooftop) Trained and Certified (including Medical Clearance, RF Awareness Trained, First Aid Trained).
  • JIB Card.
