Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. This new role is pivotal in supporting and delivering our full range of energy efficient products and services-from technical audits and specification visits to on-site implementation and system commissioning. You will work closely with both internal teams and clients across a variety of commercial sectors throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support installation and commissioning of energy-saving technologies (e.g. LED lighting and HVAC controls) and electrical supplies for water monitoring systems
  • Survey, installation, commissioning and maintenance of AC and DC charging systems as part of our E-Mobility team.
  • Ensure all installations are compliant with BS7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in existing electrical systems and propose effective solutions as required.
  • Provide technical guidance during pre-sales and post-installation phases.

Key Requirements

Essential:

  • City and Guilds 2365-02/03, equivalent or higher.
  • City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
  • BSth Edition.
  • Methodical, accurate and process focused approach.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility for working throughout the UK,
  • Proven experience in electrical installation or project delivery.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and perform load calculations
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Experience with renewable technologies (e.g., solar PV, battery storage)
  • Experience within the EV charger marketplace
